Wishing You Love - September 2025 Sneak Peek

In July I was lucky enough to preview a product suite that will be in the September to December Mini Catalog, called Peace on Earth. The suite can be used for holiday cards as well as "thinking of you" cards.

Cloud Cover: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 (score at 4 1/4), 4 1/2 x 2 1/2, 1 3/4 x 3 7/8, 2 1/2 x 2 1/2
Secret Sea: 2 1/8 x 2 1/8
Basic White: 2 x 2, 4 x 5 1/4
Peaceful Garden Designer Series Paper Pattern 1: 5 3/8 x 4 1/8
Peaceful Garden Designer Series Paper Pattern 2: 4 3/8 x 2 3/8
Peaceful Garden Designer Series Paper Pattern 3: 1 5/8 x 4 3/4

Assembly
  • Fold card base on the score line and burnish with a Bone Folder. Adhere the large Basic White card stock to the inside of the card base.
  • Adhere the Peaceful Garden Designer Series Paper Pattern 1 to the top of the card base.
  • Adhere the Peaceful Garden Designer Series Paper Pattern 2 to the larger Cloud Cover card stock and then to the card front as shown in the photo.
  • Create a banner with the Peaceful Garden Designer Series Paper Pattern 3 and the Cloud Cover strip by putting the ends together and flagging the end. Move the Designer Series Paper so there is an even margin and attach to the card front. 
  • Punch the Cloud Cover square with the 2 3/8 circle punch, the Secret Sea square with the 2 - inch circle punch, layer these together and adhere to the card front.
  • Punch the Basic White square with the 1 3/4-inch circle punch. Stamp part of the greeting with Cloud Cover ink and the rest of the greeting with Secret Sea ink. Adhere on top of the other circles.
  • Finish the card with the Hues of Blues Flowers.

A Horizontal Front Flap card

  What a cute idea for a card opening and I love the dual use of the Blooming Phrases stamp set. First let's do the folding of the card. Cut a piece of Designer Series Paper 8 x 6 3/4 being mindful of any pattern you have to consider, using a landscape orientation. Score on the left side and top at 2 3/4. Fold and gently burnish the left score line and make a tic mark as indicated. Now fold and burnish the top score line the same way, making the tic mark as indicated. To create the diagonal score, match the tic marks up on your paper trimmer and make the score, fold and burnish To create the fold, push the diagonal fold in and create the square on the top of the Designer Series Paper. Adhere this to the Daffodil Delight Card base. Now for the fun part, the stamping. On the Basic White square, stamp the greeting in Old Olive ink.
