A Horizontal Front Flap card

What a cute idea for a card opening and I love the dual use of the Blooming Phrases stamp set. First let's do the folding of the card. Cut a piece of Designer Series Paper 8 x 6 3/4 being mindful of any pattern you have to consider, using a landscape orientation. Score on the left side and top at 2 3/4. Fold and gently burnish the left score line and make a tic mark as indicated.

Now fold and burnish the top score line the same way, making the tic mark as indicated.

To create the diagonal score, match the tic marks up on your paper trimmer and make the score, fold and burnish

To create the fold, push the diagonal fold in and create the square on the top of the Designer Series Paper. Adhere this to the Daffodil Delight Card base.

Now for the fun part, the stamping. On the Basic White square, stamp the greeting in Old Olive ink. To create the flower stems, use the "tail end" of the greeting stamp

Create seven stems of different lengths with Old Olive ink.

Stamp the flower bush image in Pool Party ink on the first, third and seventh stem. Stamp flowers with Daffodil Delight ink on the second, fourth and sixth stem. Now stamp the leaves on the second and fifth stems, stamp the single leaf on the fourth and sixth stems. Attach this to the Designer Series Paper about a half inch from the top and left edges. Place some Starburst Sequins on the piece.

On the rectangle piece of Basic White, stamp the second greeting in Old Olive Ink and adhere to the inside of the Designer Series Paper

Poof you have a card to put in the mail!
