You make life better!!
Welcome to November, the leaves are covering the lawn, and the grandkids are having a ball running through them, raking not so much.
I held my monthly Stampin' Up! Open House yesterday. Card one has a simple layout, technique and can be done in other color combinations.
Cutting
Thick Basic White - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4
Night of Navy - 5 1/4 x 3 7/8
Basic White - 5 x 3 3/4
Thoughtful Designs DSP - 3 7/8 x 1
Assembly
Fold and burnish Thick Whisper White card base
Adhere DSP paper to the right side of the card base, leaving a margin around the DSP.
Hold the Night of Navy and Basic White cardstock together, with the right sides together and tear the edges together. Adhere the Night of Navy piece to the card front.
Stamp the sentiment on the Basic White cardstock with VersaMark ink and cover with Gold Embossing Powder, heat to set.
Ink the leaf stalk in Night of Navy ink and stamp three times without reinking on the cardstock, do this step twice. With a Blending Brush and Mossy Meadow Ink color the bottom on the Basic White piece, keeping it darker on the bottom fading to light on the top. Adhere this piece over the Night of Navy Cardstock. Lastly top with Gold Textured Dots.
Happy Stamping!!
