Cutting

Real Red - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, score at 2 1/2 and 6 1/2, scrap for the heart punch

Basic White - 4 1/2 x 3 1/4, 2 1/4 x 5 1/2

Made with Love Designer Series Paper 1 - 1 3/4 x 5 1/4, 2 1/4 x 5 1/4

Made with Love Designer Series Paper 2 - (2) 5 1/4 x 3/4

Made with Love Designer Series Paper 3 - 3 1/4 x 3/4

Bubble Bath - scrap for arrow die cut

Assembly

Attach Designer Series Style 1 to the top and bottom sections of the card.

Attach Designer Series Style 2 strips, cross ways across the top section of the card. Lay it out flat to keep glue off the card bottom section. 

Stamp two hearts in Real Red ink and die cut. Attach over the center of the Designer Paper Style 1 strips.

Use the Bee Builder Punch and scrap of Real Red to punch a heart. Adhere it with a Dimensional over the two stamped hearts. 

Die cut the small arrow from a Bubble Bath scrap and attach over the Real Red heart. 

Adhere the small strip of Designer Series Style 3 to the left side of the Basic White cardstock. Stamp the greeting from the Endless Love stamp set in Real Red ink. Adhere to the inside of the card.

Top off the front of the card with Strawberry Slush/Pretty in Pink Gems.

A Horizontal Front Flap card

  What a cute idea for a card opening and I love the dual use of the Blooming Phrases stamp set. First let's do the folding of the card. Cut a piece of Designer Series Paper 8 x 6 3/4 being mindful of any pattern you have to consider, using a landscape orientation. Score on the left side and top at 2 3/4. Fold and gently burnish the left score line and make a tic mark as indicated. Now fold and burnish the top score line the same way, making the tic mark as indicated. To create the diagonal score, match the tic marks up on your paper trimmer and make the score, fold and burnish To create the fold, push the diagonal fold in and create the square on the top of the Designer Series Paper. Criss Cross and a Fun Fold

This fun fold has a special element on the card front. I selected the sheet of Florals in Bloom Designer Series Paper to use on this card because the Granny Apple Green/Berry Brust color combo made me happy.  Score and burnish the Berry Burst cardstock.  On the Basic White cardstock stamp stem from Pretty Florals using Granny Apple Green ink. Next ink up the solid blossom stamp in Berry Burst and stamp off before stamping over the stem. Ink the lined blossom stamp in Berry Burst and stamp full strength over the solid image. Insert this piece inside the card base.  Adhere the larger piece of Designer Series Paper on the inside of the right flap. Adhere the two other pieces on the front and inside of the left flap.  Fold three pieces of the Designer Series Paper strips as shown and fold the other two in the opposite direction.
