Fresh Freesia Abloom
This card from my Open House features a fun fold and the new Floral Impression Designer Series Paper and coordinating bundle, these are must adds to your card making stash!

Creating the "pillar" is easy and the card goes together nicely. I designed the card to be a birthday card, many of the open house attendees chose to adapt the design to be Mother's Day card by moving the flowers together on the front banner.

Cutting
Fresh Freesia - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 (score at 1/2, 2 1/8, 2 5/8 and 4 1/4), 2 3/4 x 4
Basic White - 3 1/2 x 5 1/4, 2 5/8 x 3 7/8 (die cut banner from this and use the remainder for a layer) 4 x 2 1/4 to stamp flowers/leaves
Floral Designer Series paper - 1 3/8 x 5 1/4
Striped Designer Series paper - 2 1/2 x 3 3/4
Assembly
- Create the pillar from the Fresh Freesia card base, fold and burnish all the scores to the inside. Adhere the 1/2 in flap to the inside right side of the score.
- Adhere Floral Designer Series Paper to the front side of the pillar. Adhere the piece of Basic White to the inside of the card.
- Layer the Basic White (that the banner is cut from) to the Fresh Freesia piece. Top with the Stripped Designer Series Paper and banner die cut.
- Stamp flowers, centers and leaves, for the flowers stamp the detail full strength Fresh Freesia and the petals with stamped off ink. Flower centers are in Pecan Pie and the leave Mossy Meadow, Use the dies or fussy cut.
- Stamp the greeting on the banner in Fresh Freesia ink. Adhere the flowers and leaves to banner.
- Finish the card off with Antique Pearls.
