I used a template (card sketch) and looked at each of the designs the Florals in Bloom Designer Paper, the bold blooms of this sheet and the Summer Splash color had this card fall into place. 



Duplicate this card with your favorite floral paper. 

Time to plant my zinnia seeds!

Cutting

Summer Splash: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 (score at 4 1/4), 1 1/2 x 4 for die cut

Basic White: 4 3/4 x 3 1/2, 5 1/4 x 4, 1 1/2 x 4 (die cut), 1/2 x 3 1/2

Florals In Bloom Designer Series Paper: 4 1/2 x 3, cut in to 3 strips.

Assembly

Fold and burnish card base, adhere large Basic White piece to the inside.

Adhere the Designer Series strips to the Basic White (4 3/4 x 3 1/2). Adhere this to the card base.

Put Adhesive Sheet to the 1 1/2 x 4 Basic White and die cut the smaller Bloom die. Cut the Bloom base from the Summer Splash Cardstock. Peal the adhesive off the Basic White and attach to the Summer Splash. Put on the card base with Dimensionals. 

Stamp the sentiment with Summer Splash Ink and adhere under the Bloom die cut. 

Top the card off with the clear gems from the Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink Gems.

A Horizontal Front Flap card

  What a cute idea for a card opening and I love the dual use of the Blooming Phrases stamp set. First let's do the folding of the card. Cut a piece of Designer Series Paper 8 x 6 3/4 being mindful of any pattern you have to consider, using a landscape orientation. Score on the left side and top at 2 3/4. Fold and gently burnish the left score line and make a tic mark as indicated. Now fold and burnish the top score line the same way, making the tic mark as indicated. To create the diagonal score, match the tic marks up on your paper trimmer and make the score, fold and burnish To create the fold, push the diagonal fold in and create the square on the top of the Designer Series Paper. Adhere this to the Daffodil Delight Card base. Now for the fun part, the stamping. On the Basic White square, stamp the greeting in Old Olive ink.
