Open House Project 3
I love 3D projects, you always need a little tuck in gift for some one and there is always a candle or chocolate around to include. Stampin' Up provided cute little 3 1/8 x 3 1/8 acetate boxes in the annual catalog, they are perfect for 3 x 3 cards or treats.
I looked at all our fall products and went to a favorite bundle from last year that was included in the Holiday catalog at the bundle price! Here is how I but the gift box together.
Cutting instructions
Bumble Bee cardstock - 3 x 3 for box, 3 x 3 for large leaf and smaller pieces for the cut/embossed leaves
Pumpkin Pie 1/2 x 3 for sentiment
Plaid Tidings DSP 2 13/16 x 2 13/16
Assembly
Stamp the dotty image on the edges of the Bumble Bee square with Bumble Bee Ink. Adhere the DSP to the top. Attach to acetate box with Tear & Tape
Stamp the large leave with Pumpkin Pie Ink on Bumble Bee Cardstock. Die cut out. Cut and emboss 2 smaller leaves out of Bumble Bee Cardstock.
Using daubers color the leave with Bumble Bee, Mossy Meadow, Pumpkin Pie and Real Red ink. Curl the leaves with a bone folder. Using dimensionals attache the leaves to the DSP.
Stamp the sentiment on the Pumpkin Pie piece, with Pumpkin Pie ink. Use the punch to flag the ends. Sponge the edges with Pumpkin Pie ink.
Tie a small bow from the metallic copper ribbon and attach to the top of the leaves with a glue dot.
