Fall Open House Card 2

 I CASED this card from another Stampin' Up Demo, I changed the colors to match the Gilded Autumn DSP that I am in love with. The piece on this card is small but adds a pretty accent to the card.


Cutting instructions

Cajun Craze Card Stock - 8 1/2 x 5 1/4, score at 4 1/4, 5 1/16 x 3 13/16

Crumb Cake - 5 1/4 x 4

Very Vanilla - 5 1/4 x 4, 3 x 1 1/4, 2 x 3/4

Mint Macaron  - 2 1/8 x 14/16

Card Assembly

Fold Cajun Craze base, attach Crumb Cake layer. 

Stamp bean image on the small Cajun Craze piece with Cajun Craze ink, i used full strength for each stamp (no stamping off), attach this to the card base.

Stamp the coffee cups on the medium piece of Very Vanillia with Memento Tuxedo Black and color the images with Cajun Craze, Mint Macaron and Crumb Cake Blends and the Crushed Curry Stampin' Write Marker. 

Attach the DSP strip to the back of the cups image and mount on the card front.

Stamp the sentiment on the smallest piece of Very Vanilla using Early Espresso Ink, mount on the Mint Macaron piece and attach to the card with Dimensionals

Stamp the greeting and coffee cup on the large Very Vanilla piece and color the cup sleeve with the Crumb Cake blends. Stamp the heart in Cajun Craze ink and adhere to the inside of the card.

A Horizontal Front Flap card

  What a cute idea for a card opening and I love the dual use of the Blooming Phrases stamp set. First let's do the folding of the card. Cut a piece of Designer Series Paper 8 x 6 3/4 being mindful of any pattern you have to consider, using a landscape orientation. Score on the left side and top at 2 3/4. Fold and gently burnish the left score line and make a tic mark as indicated. Now fold and burnish the top score line the same way, making the tic mark as indicated. To create the diagonal score, match the tic marks up on your paper trimmer and make the score, fold and burnish To create the fold, push the diagonal fold in and create the square on the top of the Designer Series Paper. Adhere this to the Daffodil Delight Card base. Now for the fun part, the stamping. On the Basic White square, stamp the greeting in Old Olive ink.
