Loving the Peaceful Garden Designer Series Paper and a simple layout. 


Cutting

Secret Sea- 5 ½ x 8 ½, ¼ x 5 ½, 3 x 3

Cloud Cover – 4 x 5 ½

Basic White – 4 x 5 ¼

Crosshatch Pattern from Peaceful Garden Designer Series Paper – (2) ¾ x 5 ½

Large Flower Pattern from Peaceful Garden Designer Series Paper – 3 x 5 ½

Assembly

Score, fold and burnish Secret Sea card base, insert Basic White card stock inside the card base.

Center and adhere the Cloud Cover card stock, top and bottom are even with the card base

Adhere the Crosshatch Pattern Peaceful Garden Designer Series Paper strips, on the Cloud Cover cardstock, 1/8 from the left and right sides of the cardstock

Adhere the Secret Sea card stock over the center of the Crosshatch DSP/ Cloud Cover cardstock

Adhere the Large Floral Pattern from the Peaceful Garden Designer Series Paper over the Secret Sea card stock

Die cut the Spotlight on Nature circle from the Secret Sea card stock. Use the Embossing Buddy over the circle, stamp the greeting with VeraMark ink and cover with White Embossing Powder. Heat with the heat tool.  Put some Stampin Seal on the back and loop 14 inches of ribbon on the back. Add Dimensional to the back and attach to the card front.

A Horizontal Front Flap card

  What a cute idea for a card opening and I love the dual use of the Blooming Phrases stamp set. First let's do the folding of the card. Cut a piece of Designer Series Paper 8 x 6 3/4 being mindful of any pattern you have to consider, using a landscape orientation. Score on the left side and top at 2 3/4. Fold and gently burnish the left score line and make a tic mark as indicated. Now fold and burnish the top score line the same way, making the tic mark as indicated. To create the diagonal score, match the tic marks up on your paper trimmer and make the score, fold and burnish To create the fold, push the diagonal fold in and create the square on the top of the Designer Series Paper. Adhere this to the Daffodil Delight Card base. Now for the fun part, the stamping. On the Basic White square, stamp the greeting in Old Olive ink. Criss Cross and a Fun Fold

This fun fold has a special element on the card front. I selected the sheet of Florals in Bloom Designer Series Paper to use on this card because the Granny Apple Green/Berry Brust color combo made me happy.  Score and burnish the Berry Burst cardstock.  On the Basic White cardstock stamp stem from Pretty Florals using Granny Apple Green ink. Next ink up the solid blossom stamp in Berry Burst and stamp off before stamping over the stem. Ink the lined blossom stamp in Berry Burst and stamp full strength over the solid image. Insert this piece inside the card base.  Adhere the larger piece of Designer Series Paper on the inside of the right flap. Adhere the two other pieces on the front and inside of the left flap.  Fold three pieces of the Designer Series Paper strips as shown and fold the other two in the opposite direction.
