For the pear lovers
Look at this, pear stamps and coordinating Designer Series Paper in the July Online Exclusives. This is a beautiful collection, the colors are rich remind me of French Farmhouse Style.
My card from Saturday's Open House, see how pretty the Designer Series Paper looks.
The stamp that colors the inside of the pear has great texture and I added more with the speckled image stamp.I made this card with very thin (1/8 inch) matting to give the card a crisp look.
Cutting
Mossy Meadow - 5 1/2 x 8 1/4 (score at 4 1/8), 4 5/8 x 2 5/8, 1 5/8 x 3 7/8
Painterly Pears Designer Series Paper 1 - 5 3/8 x 4 1/8
Painterly Pears Designer Series Paper 2 - 4 1/2 x 2 1/2
Painterly Pears Designer Series Paper 3 - 1 1/2 x 3 3/4
Basic White - 5 1/4 x 4 and scrap to punch a circle, stamp the sentiment and pears
Assembly
Fold and burnish card base, adhere the Basic White to the inside of the card base
Adhere Designer Series Paper 1 to the card front.
Adhere Designer Series Paper 2 to the Mossy Meadow rectangle, then adhere this piece to the card base, I aligned it with a 1/2 margin on the left side of the card front.
To create the banner lay Designer Series Paper 3 over the last piece of Mossy Meadow, do not adhere! Line up one end together then cut the banner ends from this side.
It should look like this when you finish the bannerAdhere together and then over the card front, matching the left sides together.Using a 2-inch circle punch make a circle from Basic White and adhere it to the card front as shown.
On another piece of Basic White scrap stamp the outline of the pears and sentiment using Tuxedo Black Ink. Die cut the images. With Darling Duckling ink and the pear stamp fill the stamped outline. With Mossy Meadow ink and the dotty stamp, add more texture to the pears. Color the leave with Old Olive Dark/Light Stampin' Blends and the twig with the Dark Pecan Pie Blend. Attach the pears to the circle with Dimensionals. Attach the sentiment using a Dimensional and glue to the left side of the pears.
Finish the card with Secret Sea 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls
Such a pretty card!
