A Sweetheart of a Fun Fold

 

The love of Marbled Elegance Designer Series Paper continues, this CASED card cleverly uses Wild Wheat Cardstock to mimic Gold Foil Paper and the look is great.

Cutting Directions

Melon Mambo: 4 1/4 x 11, score at 5 1/2 and 2 1/4, turn so 2 1/4 score end is on the top. Score down to the 2 1/4 line at 1 and 3 1/4. Trim the outside edges away. Cut another Melon Mambo piece 2 1/4 x 4 1/4

Basic White: 5 1/4 x 4, 4 1/8 x 3 1/8, 1 7/8 x 3 7/8 and a scrap for stamping the heart and three sets of leaves

Wild Wheat: 2 x 4

Gold: Scrap to die cut the stitched heart

Designer Series Paper: pattern 1 - 4 x 3, pattern 2 - 3 7/8 x 2 1/8

Assembly

Adhere the largest piece of Basis White to the inside of the card, top with Pattern 2 of the Designer Series Paper leaving a thin edge of Basic White on the top, bottom and right side of the card.

Adhere the 4 1/8 x 3 1/8 Basic White piece to the left front side of the card base, top with Pattern 1 of the Designer Series Paper. 

Stamp the heart using Melon Mambo Ink on the Basic White scrap and the leaves three times in Wild Wheat Ink, die cut or fussy cut out the pieces.

On the card base fold the 2 1/4 back on itself and attach the Wild Wheat piece to the fold flap. Stamp the greeting in Melon Mambo Ink toward the right side of the 1 7/8 x 3 7/8 Basic White piece then adhere to the Wild Wheat cardstock. 

On the left side of the greeting piece adhere the stamped die cut heart and the Gold die cut heart to the piece with Stampin Dimensionals. Glue and tuck the leaves under the hearts.

Finish the card off by attaching Sequin Hearts and a Gold Thread Bow.
