I used the Pastel Ombre Glimmer Paper to give this butterfly a shine and a layer of vellum for a light and airy look. You can see the other shades if the Ombre Glimmer Paper behind the card.
Cutting
Lemon Lolly: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4; 3 7/8 x 5 1/8, run this through the embossing folder, centering the large butterfly.
Vellum: 4 1/4 x 3 1/4, die cut the larger butterfly; 1 x 3, die cut 2 small butterflies
Ombre Glimmer Paper: 4 x 3, die cut the lacy butterfly, use the die brush or Take Your Pick Tool to remove the little pieces stuck in the die.
Black: 3/4 x 2, die cut largest butterfly body
Basic White: 3/4 x 3 1/2, die cut label, I shortened the label to better fit the sentiment.
Assembly
Do all the die cutting and scoring listed above.
Adhere the Vellum Butterfly to the Lemon Lolly embossed butterfly with Stampin;' Dimensonals down the middle of the body. Top with the Ombre Glimmer Paper with Glue Dots. Lastly, I used Multi-Purpose glue to attach the Basic Black Body over the Ombre Glimmer Paper and Vellum, matching up the antenna.
Adhere the small die cut butterflies to the card front with a Glue Dot and top with an Iridescent Rhinestone (or whatever you have in your stash)
Stamp the greeting on the label and adhere to the card base with a Dimensonal.
Hope you enjoy this hint of the spring to come.
