Day One - Something Red

Cased this from another Demo, I used Boughs of Holly Collection, LOVE this Bundle. Holly has sentimental meaning to me, I used it in my wedding bouquet (12-30). You will be using this collection often this season.

 

Day Two - In the Snow

 First chance to use the Joyful Flurry Bundle and Snowflake Specialty Designer Series Paper. I selected Starry Sky for the card stock and ink. I added Wink of Stella to the stamped snowflake, just because.

A Horizontal Front Flap card

  What a cute idea for a card opening and I love the dual use of the Blooming Phrases stamp set. First let's do the folding of the card. Cut a piece of Designer Series Paper 8 x 6 3/4 being mindful of any pattern you have to consider, using a landscape orientation. Score on the left side and top at 2 3/4. Fold and gently burnish the left score line and make a tic mark as indicated. Now fold and burnish the top score line the same way, making the tic mark as indicated. To create the diagonal score, match the tic marks up on your paper trimmer and make the score, fold and burnish To create the fold, push the diagonal fold in and create the square on the top of the Designer Series Paper. Adhere this to the Daffodil Delight Card base. Now for the fun part, the stamping. On the Basic White square, stamp the greeting in Old Olive ink.
