Day Three Tulip

 Tulips always remind me of my Grandma Rudy, she grew beautiful tulips every year. I am planning to plant more tulips this year and see the happy results next spring.

The two step stamping used in the Flowering Fields stamp set gives the tulips dimension and the little butterflies add the cute factor. The Evening Evergreen Windowpane Ribbon ties easily. 


Here is a close up to see the detail in the tulips, I stamped off the ink for the inner detail.

A Horizontal Front Flap card

  What a cute idea for a card opening and I love the dual use of the Blooming Phrases stamp set. First let's do the folding of the card. Cut a piece of Designer Series Paper 8 x 6 3/4 being mindful of any pattern you have to consider, using a landscape orientation. Score on the left side and top at 2 3/4. Fold and gently burnish the left score line and make a tic mark as indicated. Now fold and burnish the top score line the same way, making the tic mark as indicated. To create the diagonal score, match the tic marks up on your paper trimmer and make the score, fold and burnish To create the fold, push the diagonal fold in and create the square on the top of the Designer Series Paper. Adhere this to the Daffodil Delight Card base. Now for the fun part, the stamping. On the Basic White square, stamp the greeting in Old Olive ink.
