Gingerbread Day

 Today I selected the Gingerbread & Peppermint Suites to create cards. I have seen many adorable ideas and had to CASE them

The Designer Series Paper is the best and the dies match most of the shapes, little fussy cutting is needed. I die cut the "icing" out of Basic White with Adhesive Sheets attached and look how cute it is on the die cut bell and ball.


The Ruched Ribbon ties a bow easily and the Red Rhinestones give the finishing touch you need.  


The label on the first card is from Pretty Pillow Box, a must have die set!

Finally I pared it with Soft Suede and Evening Evergreen and a piece of Painted Christmas DSP

What will I play with tomorrow??

A Horizontal Front Flap card

  What a cute idea for a card opening and I love the dual use of the Blooming Phrases stamp set. First let's do the folding of the card. Cut a piece of Designer Series Paper 8 x 6 3/4 being mindful of any pattern you have to consider, using a landscape orientation. Score on the left side and top at 2 3/4. Fold and gently burnish the left score line and make a tic mark as indicated. Now fold and burnish the top score line the same way, making the tic mark as indicated. To create the diagonal score, match the tic marks up on your paper trimmer and make the score, fold and burnish To create the fold, push the diagonal fold in and create the square on the top of the Designer Series Paper. Adhere this to the Daffodil Delight Card base. Now for the fun part, the stamping. On the Basic White square, stamp the greeting in Old Olive ink.
