Gorgeous Fields

Recently I was in the Oregon Wine Valley with my sister and her family, we saw fields of lavender blooming, they were inspiration for this card. I used the stamping off technique to create the lighter and darker in colors, you could use a blending brush to achieve a similar look.

Cutting Instructions

Highland Heather: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4; 3/4 x 2

Garden Green: 5 1/4 x 4

Basic White: 5 1/8 x 3 7/8 and 5 1/ x 4

To create the card:

Ink up the leaf/grass image stamp in Garden Green and stamped off, them stamped the bottom of the Basic White cardstock

Ink the flower images stamp, stamp the top portion on masking tape, the on the already stamped leaf image, it is easy to line up.

Cut the top of the mask and lay on the curved hill and repeat steps 1 & 2. Remove the mask.

Ink up the clouds in Balmy Blue and stamp across the top of the paper.

Run this piece through the Cut & Emboss machine using the So Swirly Embossing Folder and plates 1, 2 & 4. The Embossing folder is thin and you will need to add the 2 plate to get a good impression.

Attach the stamped piece to the Garden Green Cardstock and then to the Highland Heather base card.

From a scrap of Highland Heather die cut a label and stamp with a sentiment. Use Dimensionals to attach to the card front
