Cottage Wreath - WCMD

 Yesterday was World Card Making Day, several friends joined me to make cards and a treat holder, win a door prizes and have snacks!!

The first card featured the Cottage Wreath bundle, with an assist from True Beauty for the sentiment and "dotty" stamp from Forever Fern. The bow is a piece of Silver Threaded Twine, separate the threads and use half the threads to create a less bulky bow. 

Ink colors are Crumb Cake, Blackberry Bliss and Pumpkin Pie.

A Horizontal Front Flap card

  What a cute idea for a card opening and I love the dual use of the Blooming Phrases stamp set. First let's do the folding of the card. Cut a piece of Designer Series Paper 8 x 6 3/4 being mindful of any pattern you have to consider, using a landscape orientation. Score on the left side and top at 2 3/4. Fold and gently burnish the left score line and make a tic mark as indicated. Now fold and burnish the top score line the same way, making the tic mark as indicated. To create the diagonal score, match the tic marks up on your paper trimmer and make the score, fold and burnish To create the fold, push the diagonal fold in and create the square on the top of the Designer Series Paper. Adhere this to the Daffodil Delight Card base. Now for the fun part, the stamping. On the Basic White square, stamp the greeting in Old Olive ink.
