June Open House Card 1

 Yesterday several stampers joined me to make cards and see new products from the 22-23 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog. 

The first card features one on my favorite features of Stampin' Up! products, card & envelopes that match a Designer Series Paper, stamps and dies line, like the Tea Boutique cards & envelopes, look how cute the envelopes are!!

To make the card I used Starry Sky cardstock to create a layer under the Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper, then added it to the card base. Die cut the tea cup, matching overlay die and the labels. The card we made at the open house did not have dimensionals, I used them on the Orchid Oasis card to show you another look. The sentiment comes from Ranunculus Romance, but you can use any sentiment in your collection. Finish the card off with the 22-24 InColor Matte Dots and get out the stamp to mail it to a friend.

A Horizontal Front Flap card

  What a cute idea for a card opening and I love the dual use of the Blooming Phrases stamp set. First let's do the folding of the card. Cut a piece of Designer Series Paper 8 x 6 3/4 being mindful of any pattern you have to consider, using a landscape orientation. Score on the left side and top at 2 3/4. Fold and gently burnish the left score line and make a tic mark as indicated. Now fold and burnish the top score line the same way, making the tic mark as indicated. To create the diagonal score, match the tic marks up on your paper trimmer and make the score, fold and burnish To create the fold, push the diagonal fold in and create the square on the top of the Designer Series Paper. Adhere this to the Daffodil Delight Card base. Now for the fun part, the stamping. On the Basic White square, stamp the greeting in Old Olive ink.
