World Card Making Day Cards - Poinsetta Magic

Here are the details for the cards we made last week at my WCMD event. 

Card 1 Poinsettia Magic

Cutting

Mossy Meadow - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, score at 4 1/4

Whisper White - 1 7/8 x 3 1/8, 4 x 5 1/4, scraps for stamping

Heartwarming Hugs DSP cut 2 at 1 x 41/4 and cut 2 at 1 x 3

Instructions

·         Fold Mossy Meadow cardbase, in half, insert 5 ¼ x 4 Whisper White piece inside

·         Attach Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper strips as shown on sample card, I used Green Glue because it allows a little movement when placing the pieces down.

·         Stamp the sentiment from Poinsettia Petals in Mossy Meadow ink on the smaller Whisper White piece. Attach to the center with Dimensionals.

·         Stamp the small poinsettia twice on the remaining Whisper White piece. Ink up the shadow stamp and stamp off for each flower. Die cut the pieces with the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine.  Use Wink of Stella on the flowers. Curl the flowers with a bone folder, layer on top of each other, adhere with Glue Dots.

·         Place Pumpkin Pie Rhinestones in the center of the poinsettia and 3 Cherry Cobbler Rhinestones in the corner, from the Holiday Rhinestone Pack.
