Welcome to my first blog post, everything is pretty plain now. I am still learning about Blogger and you will see upgrades at time goes on.

Peaceful Poppy Workshop - Saturday February 8, 11am, Village at Three Fountains

Join me to create 4 cards using the beautiful Peaceful Poppy Suite.
Your class kit will include

  • ·         1 roll of Whisper White ¼ Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon
Workshop cost is $35, prepay and reserve your workshop spot by 1-30 and you will earn a punch on your bonus card ($50 punch for $35).  You will take home so many ideas from this workshop you will be making cards for a long time.

February Sampler Class - Thursday February 20, 6pm at my house.

This months theme is Friendship. Class cost including a 12 x 12 frame and product kit is $15, product kit only cost is $10.RSVP by 2-16.

"Departure time" is 11am, there are 8 ports of call (projects), buffet line, beverages, games and prizes. We will be using all the tropical themed products to warm up these cold days.
 
Book by March 2nd for best rates. Ticket cost is $45 🌴

A Horizontal Front Flap card

  What a cute idea for a card opening and I love the dual use of the Blooming Phrases stamp set. First let's do the folding of the card. Cut a piece of Designer Series Paper 8 x 6 3/4 being mindful of any pattern you have to consider, using a landscape orientation. Score on the left side and top at 2 3/4. Fold and gently burnish the left score line and make a tic mark as indicated. Now fold and burnish the top score line the same way, making the tic mark as indicated. To create the diagonal score, match the tic marks up on your paper trimmer and make the score, fold and burnish To create the fold, push the diagonal fold in and create the square on the top of the Designer Series Paper. Adhere this to the Daffodil Delight Card base. Now for the fun part, the stamping. On the Basic White square, stamp the greeting in Old Olive ink.
