Non Tradtional Fall Colors

After 3 failed attempts to shot a video tutorial for this card  😡, I took pictures and hope the directions will be adequate.

I saw a card on another demonstrators blog, but have used up the Crumb Cake/Early Espresso dotty Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper on other projects and I recreated a similar background with Crumb Cake cardstock and the dotty stamp from Seaside Notions.

When I looked at the card this morning, I thought it needed a different background and inked up the Birch stamp with Early Espresso ink and like the look more.

What do you think?

I used the large Water Painter and a piece of Fluid 100 water color paper and made strips of  Granny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay, Mango Melody, Melon Mambo and Cherry Cobbler, I over layed the edge of one color on the next to get a blend of color . Hope the sample conveys the idea.

Once this dries, stamp the leaves from the Beautiful Autumn Bundle in Memento Tuxedo Black and use the coordinating punch on the image.

The card base is Early Espresso (8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4), the next two layer are cut with the largest 2 Stitched Rectangle dies from Bermuda Bay and Crumb Cake.

I used Tombow Mono Liquid Glue to attach the punched leaves to the card front. The greeting was stamped with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with White Embossing Powder. Before attaching to the card front I looped a piece of Forever Greenery Gold Cording under the greeting.

Hoping you enjoy the card idea!
