Transition Day for my Craft Room

Image
Time to move seasons for project making, will keep the fall items close but moving up the Christmas/Winter themes. Once I cleaned off my table, restocked adhesives, found all my scissors and finished my coffee I opened the August 2022 Paper Pumpkin Kit, Sweet Sunflowers to make the beautiful cards. I followed the provided directions for most of the cards. I always check Pinterest and the Paper Pumpkin Fan Club page on FB for alternative ideas.  AND The October Paper Pumpkin kit will have you saying Ho, Ho, Ho! It’s beginning to look A LOT like Christmas with the card designs in this month’s kit! The Ho Ho Ho kit includes whimsical designs of Santa and his reindeer in a classic Christmas color palette of red and green with additional Christmas-inspired patterns and textures like candy cane stripes and kraft paper. The cards in this kit are sure to match various styles of holiday décor and look great on mantles everywhere.    November Paper Pumpkin Kit Coordination If...

Scottie Dog Trick or Treat Holder - WCMD Final Project

Image
I was excited for the chance to use the adorable Christmas Scottie bundle for a Halloween Treat. This little guy reminds me of our little Schnauzer Max we had years ago. The Pretty Pillowbox Die and Black & White Designs DSP create the treat holder, we found that a Reeses Peanutbutter Pumpkin or Mini Snickers fits perfectly in the holder. I used the Stamparatus to stamp the Scottie, because you want him fully inked. When you punch out the Scottie you get the bow, I inked up the plaid image and Pumpkin Pie ink and applied it to the bow. The sentiment tag is from Cup of Tea, the stamp is a from an old Paper Pumpkin kit. I used the White Glitter Organdy Ribbon and Black & White Gingham Ribbon. I put Mini Glue Dots on the back of the dog to adhere to the ribbon to allow for sliding the ribbon off to open the treat holder. You can plan on seeing this cutie dog celebrating many holidays in the future.   I love sharing my projects with you.  Happy Stamping Cindy Loen ...

This card features the non floral side of the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper, I could not decide which color combo I liked more the blue tones or the yellow, so I did not make you choose either. The Aspen leaves are cut from Gold or Silver Foil Paper and the sentiment embossed with coordinating Embossing Powder. The label from the Meadows dies and the sentiment from Potted Geraniums. Two colors, two different feels. WCMD Card Two

Image
To show that a stamp set/bundle designed for one season can be used for other times of the year, I used the Holly Berry Die to create a fall feel card. We also used the "smoosh" water color technique to create the paper we cut the leave from. Take a piece of Fluid 100 Water Color Paper and get it really wet with a Spritzer. Open Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and Real Red ink pads and an A Block, press the block into the ink and "smoosh" it on to the wet paper, the more it spreads the better, do this several times with each color, cleaning the block with each color change. Every piece is different, here is one of mine. Let it dry on its own, or hit it with a Heat Tool, Cut out a set of leaves. You will need a leafy label from the same set of dies.  I used Very Vanilla card stock for the card base and embossed layer, Timber 3D Embossing Folder. To bring out another color I added 21-23 In Color Opal Rounds, Evening Evergreen. The sentiment I chose is from the Ringed wi...
