Change to Backorder Policy

I just wanted to let you know about some changes coming into effect next Wednesday 1st December 2021.

As you may have heard reported in the news, unprecedented shipping and logistics issues have resulted in a global supply chain crisis. This is affecting businesses world-wide and Stampin’ Up! is no exception. Due to extreme difficulties caused by these issues, starting on 1 December 2021, Stampin’ Up! will no longer take orders for products that are not in stock. In other words, Stampin’ Up! will no longer accept backorders.

This change will help to reduce frustrations from unpredictable product availability and allow you to order products that will be delivered right away, rather than products that may not be delivered for months.

If you’d ever like to know if a product is available, please check my online store https://www.stampinup.com?demoid=2107948. The online store is a great resource to browse products, determine availability, and place orders for in-stock items with me.

What about existing Back Orders?
If you have existing Back Ordered products please don’t worry they will be shipped as soon as they are available. It’s just we won’t be accepting any back orders moving forwards.

How will I know if something is not orderable?
If you’re looking for a specific item, enter it into the search box (item code is generally the most effective way to search). If the item is not available for order, you will see the product, but it will say that it is currently unavailable and there will be no add to BASKET button.

If you have any questions please email me.

Painted Christmas Suite

I needed a change of pace this week and looked at my CASE ideas and pulled out the Painted Christmas Suite, and ooh I am in love. The pine cones, holly leaves and berries, matching dies create beautiful cards to sent this Christmas Season.

The Suite contains two stamp sets and matching dies. Christmas Season features the holiday images and dies to match plus six labels. Christmas to Remember has nine sentiment stamps, including "have a Holly Jolly Christmas" (one of my favorite Christmas songs). The dies for this bundle create a two layer pine bough and pine cone element.

The Designer Series Paper has cheery images, you will use every inch of each sheet. The use traditional colors, Cherry Cobbler, Real Red, Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen.

Here are the cards I cased to show you the many ways to use this Collection.

I plan to offer a Stamp a Stack featuring this Collection later this month. Follow my Facebook page From My Heart https://www.facebook.com/From-My-Heart-109089870734983 for more information.

Thanksgiving Sampler

I love creating themed samplers using Stampin' Up products and always on the lookout for a cute one to case. I spotted one last week on another Stampin' Up! demos website and gently CASED it for my collection. It uses a variety of current product I  will have listed at the bottom of the post. I used scraps of each color for all the die cuts.

The base of each square is a 3 x 3 piece of Early Espresso, the layers are 2 3/4 x 2 3/4. Here are each of the squares in detail.

I used a Black Stampin' Write Marker for the eyes and fussy cut the beak and waddle.

The double bow adds a nice touch.

The embossing folder makes all the difference on this square to give it depth.

Get ready to fussy cut the branches

I drew a circle on the center of the basic white layer and did first and second generation stamping for the pumpkins and stems.

The pilgrim collar was tricky, from the Stitched So Sweetly rectangle, I made a diagonal cut in the middle of each side.

I used the retired Little Letters Dies for the YUM, you could leave it off and add a second piece of pie. I created the dollop of whipped cream by crinkling a piece of basic white card stock until it split in two layers, put down Multipurpose Glue and scrunched a single layer down. Don't fuss with it long once it dries it will look like whipped cream.

Get out your watercolor pencils and water painter to color the leaves for this square. There is a piece of pale papaya shimmer paper behind the pumpkin die cut.

The farm girl in me love the wheat stems at the bottom of the square.
