More Poinsetta Cards

This is a simple layout, but gives a big impact. You could do more to dress it up, but sometimes simple is beautiful.

I stepped up the look of this card with rectangle dies, Stampin' Blends, heat embossing, ribbon and red rhinestones.

Ooh I love the look of the Plush Poinsettia Paper, as a layer on this card and still cannot get enough of the Flourish dies and Playful Alphabet dies.

Lastly and not least the poinsettia is die cut from the Red Velvet Paper (YUM!!) and has a fancy fold.

Poinsettia Place Collection

This is one of my favorite suites from the Holiday Catalog. the designer series paper uses traditional Christmas colors and the stamp and die sets coordinate like a dream. One of the dies will cut the large poinsettia from one of the papers. I am in love with the coordinating Plush Poinsettia Paper, the dies will cut these images and it is a dream to use as a focal point or background paper. The Beaded Pearls create the perfect poinsettia center and the pearls can be colored with Stampin' Blends. I have tucked the Real Red ribbon on several cards and it ties easily.

One product to include in your Poinsettia Collection is the Red Velvet Paper on page 63 of the Holiday Catalog, I used it with the poinsettia die and embossing die, be still my heart it is gorgeous!!!

My first card features a water colored poinsettia and leaves. The Fluid 100 takes the ink and water easily, you can go back over with more color to create depth in the leaves. Check back later today for more poinsettia card ideas.
